Kindred is defined as, “a group of persons related to another; family, tribe, or clan. Relationship by birth or descent, or sometimes by marriage; kinship. resemblance or connection; affinity: spiritual kindred.” Momentum is what happens when you work diligently to follow and build upon your dreams. I founded this business as a way to give back to humanity because of the privilege I’ve experienced in this lifetime.

In 2023, it became apparent to me that I have a land ethic after learning that my family received “free land” back in the 1800s (AKA stolen indigenous land). I grew up near Fayetteville, North Carolina, and rode the bus with folks who had no food to eat for lunch, while my family always had everything we needed to survive, and even thrive. These two pivotal moments in my life lit a fire in me when it comes to underserved communities and recognizing the extreme amount of privilege I hold in this patriarchal system. At Kindred Momentum, we practice what we preach: we believe deeply in fair market-rate pay and a healthy work/life balance, treating our freelancers as human beings with dignity and respect.

With more than 20 years of experience, Amanda guides and collaborates on the best, most cost-effective options to bring success for each of her clients. After extensive experience managing various projects, Amanda’s macro analysis revealed chronic shortages in staff and training, amongst other shortfalls. To combat this issue, she marshalled all available resources and began building a network of colleagues and mentees to help foster the required experience to effectively and efficiently deliver on marketing projects.
